The membership and organizations affiliated with the International School Health Network include the following:
- Practitioners (national voluntary or professional associations), researchers and government officials from each of the countries
- Research and resource centres that are focused on school-based and school-linked health promotion
- International associations and networks that view the school as a key vehicle in preventing a specific health or social problem or in promoting an aspect of health (i.e. mental health, sexual health, bullying, drug abuse/crime, etc.)
- International networks and associations that support school health promotion through a specific language of work (i.e. Spanish, French) or in particular cultural or economic contexts (i.e. Aboriginal communities, low income countries)
- Global and regional offices and networks established by international agencies such as WHO, UNESCO, UNICEF, UNODC and the World Bank
