ISHN Contacts, Office and Staff
In its early development, the ISHN was hosted by Canadian Association for School Health as a virtual organization. In 2009, the ISHN Steering Committee agreed with the suggestion that the network seek legal status an a non-profit organization in Canada and be developed further as a service organization and network of networks.
In 20o9-10, the ISHN was part of the founding of a WHO Collaborating Centre on Community and School Health, which is located at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. In 2010, the school component of that WHO centre as well as ISHN moved its university affiliation to the Centre on Educational Leadership and Policy at the Faculty of Education, Simon Fraser University, in British Columbia Canada.
